This council agrees that the trees along the boundary of the SDZ lands with the Cappaghmore estate should be protected with walls and buildings set back a suffucient distance from the trees to avoid interference with their root systems.
This council agrees that the important hedgerow along the Neilstown / Cappagh boundary would be enhanced and protected and retained in its entirety, and not just in small sections and that as much as possible of the over thirty kilometers of hedgerow on the SDZ lands would be retained and protected.
Notwithstanding the benefits of permeability, this council requests that permeability routes be re-evaluated where they involve opening existing cul de sacs to either pedestrian or vehicular traffic and that no such opening of cul de sacs / closed roads would proceed without consent of the residents.

To provide a report on a Vacant site levy and how much this would bring in for revenue for SDCC and how it could be introduced ?

"In regards to Tower Road, has there been a response from the OPW to have the existing sign replaced/removed? [Last Motion 13 20th Sept] I have raised the issue several times Could SDCC write again to OPW - almost 3 months since OPW were written to & over 2 years since SDCC were notified of this issue?"
