Immediate investment to address critical deficits in neurology staffing, including neurologists, specialist nurses and health and social care professionals to recommended levels.
- Targeted long term investment in neurology services to support implementation of the Neurology & Epilepsy Models of Care.
- Dedicated resources to support the development of clinical pathways for headache, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease and rare and genetic neurological conditions
To ask the Chief Executive to provide a report on the length of time it takes for a Garda Clearance to be provided to enable new Council tenants to take up their new homes and to give a statement on the matter?
"Following the recent incidents of cars driving over the pedestrian bridges in Tymon Park. That this Are Committee calls on the Chief Executive to install bollards at either end of all pedestrian bridges to the park to prevent this happening again. I believe this situation presents a real danger to the health and safety of all park users and council staff and also presents the possibility of significant damage to council property."
That this Council, mindful of bridge collapses in Ireland and other countries, reports on the dates and times a safety audit was last carried out on each bridge located wholly or partially within the county over water, road or rail, either by itself or TII, irish Rail or Waterways Ireland (or other relevant body), to outline future inspection dates for structures that have not been examined in the past 12 months and if a statement can be made on the matter.

To ask the Chief Executive to bring forward a report to the Area Committee for discussion providing an update on the astro turf pitch for Knockmitten United FC outlining a timeline for the delivery of the project.
"That the recent brochure on Rathfarnham Stables was very helpful and gave an indication of what could be done with the out buildings in Rathfarnham Castle. Local residents’ groups have pointed out that this indicative information should be expanded, where possible, to include parking and security facilities that such a project would require. In particular that the project and required parking and security arrangements would be self contained on the site. I understand that this is going to Part 8 but feel some consultations before part 8 would result ultimately in the best plan."
