That this Council writes to DLRCC to request their Parks Department co-operation to extend the Parklands at Ely Gate from the former boundary of the Representative Church of Ireland Body, which was already designated for an Open space Parkland, thus creating a small Linear Park with a natural habitat for wildlife. In this area could a natural wood Play space and Fitness Area for Adults and Seniors be put in, to serve the community within the area and encourage visitors to the quiet nature and peacefulness of Ely Gate.
