"To ask the Manager is there any update on the site of the old Esso Service Station in Tallaght Village and have the owners indicated if they are prepared to allow any community activities on the site, if there is not an intention on their behalf to develop the site in the near future?"

"To ask  the Manager to investigate and decide as how best to erect street signage within the Brookview Estate - which at present is wholly inadequate?"

"To ask the Manager when will the damaged ramps on roads in Tallaght, especially the Castletymon Road, be repaired and can he advise if repairs are not carried out in this financial year, is it possible to remove the severely damaged top layers of the ramps, in an effort to prevent damage to vehicle tyres?"

"To ask the Manager to survey speed ramps in the area of the Committee as many are in a damaged condition and require repairs/replacement?" 

"To ask the Manager to outline what repair works the Council intend carrying-out to asphalt ramps, installed under Council traffic calming schemes, which have subsequently became seriously damaged as a result of weathering and usage particularly in the Firhouse area?"

That this Committee calls upon the Manager to write to the Boards of Management of all schools in the Tallaght area to inform them of the procedure for applying for a finger sign, indicating the name of the school, and also outlining the cost to the school of the sign. 

That this Committee calls on the Manager to speed up the process of delivering the essential pedestrian crossing along Fortunestown Lane to service the residents of Mac Uilliam Estate before a serious accident occurs. This Estate has over seven hundred children living there with no legitimate crossing point to all of the services in the area that require them to cross the Road to, including the local schools, shops, bus stops etc. That this Committee further calls on the Manager to prioritise these works on safety grounds.

That the Manager erect “No through road” signs in the Balrothery Estate   (numbers 174-214). Also to erect “Children at play” signs.

That  the Manager please arrange repairs of the footpath from Kilakee Rise to Ballycullen Avenue.

That this Committee calls on the Manager to arrange for the immediate repair of ramps along the Killinarden Link Road adjacent to Killinarden Estate, Killinarden Heights and Cushlawn as the Bus Service is at risk due to the significantly bad state of disrepair these ramps are in.

That the Manager  provide a disabled parking space outside 16 Fernwood Close.

That the Manager gives a detailed update with regard to progress on Motion 4, Tallaght ACM 1 15th March 2010 as follows "That the Manager explores the possibility of developing a strategy within the RAPID areas of Tallaght to help address the issue of youth unemployment by offering internships/work experience opportunities with the Council to young people to engage in meaningful work that will benefit the RAPID communities and will award either an accreditation or equivalent award recognising their achievements or skills gained during the course of their internship.

That the Manager provide a report outlining lands that are undeveloped along with the relevant zoning information within the geographic area of the Fortunestown LAP.

That this Committee wholeheartedly supports the objections of residents of Marlfield Mall to Planning Application number SD11A/0109.

"To ask the Manager what is the current position in relation to the Council obtaining ownership of the strips of land that are currently in private ownership within Kingswood Heights?"

"To ask the Manager for an approximate date that tree pruning will occur in the Balrothery Estate? "

That this Committee, in the interests of promoting soccer and healthy pro-social activities for young people in West Tallaght, strongly reasserts its commitment to ensure a waiver of pitch fees for soccer teams emanating from the West Tallaght RAPID areas, and requests the Manager to address this in a sustainable way going forward as opposed to the ad hoc approach adopted to date in implementing this policy.

That this Committee calls on the Manager to arrange for some form of barrier to be erected adjacent to 338 Cushlawn Park in an effort to stop cars and other vehicles gaining access to the vast open space nearby as the residents boundary wall has been demolished on a number of occasions as a result of the access point.

That the Manager will arrange for the removal of trees outside 10 and 11 Greenfield Park, Ballycullen, as danger has been caused by falling branches. They are also blocking light which is attracting anti social behaviour.
