That this Committee recommends that South Dublin County Council puts on a reception in the near future to honour the members of the St. Francis Football Club who won the F.A.I. 'Umbro' Senior Women's Cup in 2009.
That this Committee calls on the Minister for Justice to ensure adequate funding is made available in 2010 for new and replacement vehicles for an Garda Síochána. Failure do so may seriously impinge on the capacity of local Gardaí to continue to provide their high-quality policing services across the Lucan and Clondalkin electoral areas, in particular noting the significant mileage run-up by many of the vehicles currently in use by our local Gardaí.
That the Manager requests Dublin Bus to facilitate the public by placing seating at their bus stop shelters in the Clondalkin Village area, particularly the stops on Orchard Road and the New Road, stop opposite the Laurels, Clondalkin.
That this Committee recommend that a celebration of the many successes of St. Francis Girls Teams (soccer) by way of formal reception by South Dublin County Council in the near future.
That this Committee requests the Manager to write to the Minister for Environment, Heritage and Local Government and request an up-to-date report on this Council's earlier requests to extend the Special Amenity Area Order to the lands currently not protected by the SAAO between Lucan Bridge and Palmerstown, including St. Edmundsbury and Woodville, and further request the Minister to exercise his powers to issue this order without further delays.

That the Manager includes a bottle bank into the re-development works at Neilstown Community Centre.
That this Committee, noting the devastating flooding that has hit parts of the west and south of country in recent weeks and in particular noting those floods caused by the deliberate discharge of water from ESB reservoirs, requests the Manager to present a detailed report for discussion on the council’s efforts to reduce the risk of future flooding in areas along the Liffey and Griffeen rivers; to advise on the Council’s preparedness for future possible incidents of flooding in these areas and to advise if there are any arrangements in place with the ESB to provide residents and businesses in down-river areas with adequate warning in case the need ever arose to discharge large amounts of flood water from the Liffey reservoir at Cooldrinagh.
That this Area Committee registers its dissatisfaction with the Manager about the manner in which Councillors were informed about the decision to discontinue the operation of the Esker Green Re-cycling Centre without any consultation, rejects the decision, believes that it discriminates against residents of the Lucan area, an area with relatively few Council facilities, and is not justified on environmental grounds, taken as it is in advance of the implementation of a countywide Brown Bin system for households, and requests the Manager to re-consider the decision and defer its implementation for a year.
That this Committee requests the Manager not to close the Green Waste Recycling Facility at Esker, Lucan until such time as the Brown Bin is rolled out to all houses in the area and the new scheme will be up and running. Would the Manager also report on early discussions on the future use of the lands at the Green Waste Facility in Esker?
That this Committee requests the Manager to present a detailed report for discussion on the operational and staffing arrangements required for the monitoring of CCTV footage from bring-bank sites in the Lucan and Clondalkin electoral areas, including an updated list of bring-bank sites currently monitored by CCTV. In reporting on this matter, the Manager is asked to confirm that ALL footage recorded at EACH of these sites is fully-monitored for the detection of possible offenses and to furthermore provide details of the number of offences detected by CCTV systems in respect of each of these sites in each year since the introduction of CCTV monitoring at the site and to report how many of these detected offences resulted in a successful prosecution.
