QUESTION: Cllr. Cáit Keane

"To ask the Manager for an update on the timescale for the construction of the re-aligned Knocklyon Road– and to outline details of  enhanced boundary treatment as agreed?" 

REPLY:

The Roads Department in conjunction with the Development Department are seeking to publish the C.P.O. in November 2006 for the lands required.   The site investigation has  been completed and detailed design is progressing with a view to construction commencing mid 2007.

A 2 metre high wall is proposed along the roadway at the rear of the Landsdowne Development.
