MOTION: Cllr. Alex White

"That the Manager arrange for a full review of bus services in the Terenure-Rathfarnham area, to be assisted by a meeting with Dublin Bus, and that the Manager specifically request Dublin Bus to introduce a feeder service to the LUAS along Dodder Park Road and/or through Nutgrove and also in the other direction to Tallaght."

 

REPORT:

The review of bus services is a strategic and operational matter for Dublin Bus in the first instance, though the Council will continue to lobby for the provision of improved local services, including the increased use of feeder services throughout the county. If the present motion is passed, the views of the members with regard to the above-identified service improvements in the Terenure-Rathfarnham area will be brought to the attention of Dublin Bus.
