REPORT ON BELFRY HOUSING DEVELOPMENT

REPORT

The information available to the Council indicates that the internal ventilation systems in some of the dwellings at the Belfry Housing Development may have been inadequate giving rise to odours.  Works were undertaken by the developer, under the direction of the Council’s Building Control Inspector and it is hoped that the problem has been resolved as a result.  The situation will continue to be monitored by the Building Control Section of the Planning Department  who have power to direct that work be undertaken to remedy any such problems which arise in the case of new dwellings.
