MOTION: Cllr. Caitríona Jones

"That this Committee calls for the opening of the community facility on Deerpark Road without delay".

REPORT:

The provision of a community / childcare facility is an integral part of the joint venture development at Deerpark. Arrangements have been made for the facility to be managed and maintained by Circle Voluntary Housing Association as an integral element of the overall estate management arrangements. However the legal transfers required to formalise this arrangement have yet to be completed. Efforts to expedite the necessary legal arrangements are underway.

The Committee will be kept informed of progress in the matter.
