QUESTION: Cllr. Mick Murphy

"To ask the Manager does the Planning application SD06A/0654, by Alburn for the Millennium Square project carry Section 23 status?"

REPLY

The majority of the site which is subject to the current application SD06A/0654 has the Section 23 incentives.  Availing of the incentives is also dependant on achieving the deadline dates as set out in the last budget.  The tax incentives are being phased out on a sliding scale, 100% for development finished by 30th December 2006, 75% for development finished by 30th December 2007 and 50% for development finished by 30th December 2008.
