QUESTION NO.4

QUESTION: Councillor J. Spear

"Can the Manager consider adding a sign or an information board to explain the history of Ballymount Castle and Mound in Ballymount Park, Tallaght? Residents have previously asked for this area of the park to be recognised for its rich history, and this starts with increasing awareness?"

REPLY:

The feasibility of installing appropriate heritage interpretation signage at Ballymount Park will be examined, having regard to available resources, conservation considerations and any requirements arising from the site's archaeological and heritage status.
