QUESTION NO. 3

QUESTION: Councillor A. Smyth

"To ask the Council for an update on the Butler McGee Park enhancement and to outside a time frame for completed works?"

REPLY:

Butler McGee Park will transform the existing 20-acre park into a significantly enhanced neighbourhood park, providing a range of recreational facilities, play areas, teen spaces and biodiversity features for local residents and visitors. Following completion of the tender process, the Council is progressing the necessary next steps to advance the project, with works due to commence before the end of the year. The project is expected to take approximately 15 months to complete.
