MOTION: Councillor L. de Courcy

That this Council requests the HSE National Environmental Health Service to provide confirmation of the level of inspection and test-purchasing activity undertaken in South Dublin County, the rate of compliance found among retailers with the prohibition on sales of tobacco, alcohol and e-cigarettes to persons under 18, and the number of prosecutions or fixed penalties arising, and that this information be provided in tabular format.

If the motion is passed, a letter will be issued to the HSE National Environmental Health Service; the response, when received, will be circulated to the members.
