QUESTION: Councillor F. Timmons

To ask the Chief Executive to provide a breakdown by area of all data centre developments and expansions that are currently proposed, under assessment or permitted within the county and to outline any assessment undertaken of their cumulative impact on local communities and public infrastructure.

REPLY:

A list of data centres and related permissions is attached to the response.  The assessment of cumulative impact is contained within the assessment of the planning application and the associated Environmental Impact Assessment Report, where that is required under the legislation. All of the details of the planning assessment for planning applications is available on the Planning Portal
