QUESTION: Councillor N. Whelan
To ask the Chief Executive how many emergency accommodation beds are currently provided for single persons within the county
REPLY:
The Dublin Region Homeless Executive (DRHE) is provided by Dublin City Council as the lead statutory authority on the response to homelessness in Dublin and adopts a shared service approach across the Dublin region on behalf of South Dublin, Fingal and Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Councils.
All placements are provided on a shared room basis and include a standard level of support. This includes access to dedicated key workers and housing led assistance designed to support sustainable, long-term move on pathways.
