MOTION: Councillor J. Spear

That this Council notes with concern the public transport fare increases announced by the National Transport Authority on 3 September 2026 and agrees to write to the National Transport Authority and the Minister for Transport calling for the reversal of these fare increases.

If the motion is passed, a letter will be issued to National Transport Authority and the Minister for Transport; the response, when received, will be circulated to the Members.
