Local Priorities Fund Update

REPLY:

The Local Priorities Fund Allocation Protocol agreed between the members and the executive provides for reports to be presented to each Area Committee Meeting for noting.

The fund assigned to the Lucan LEA is €125,000.

The fund assigned to the Palmerstown Fonthill LEA is €125,000.

All completed applications complying with the protocol will be presented quarterly to each relevant area committee meeting for noting.

The table below sets out applications agreed to date:

Two further applications have been received requiring further information to establish eligibility.  One application was deemed unfeasible based on the costing.

Five proposals were received since April 2026, four of which were agreed in principle, however no formal applications have been received.

The team have followed up with the Councillors on the proposals.
