QUESTION: Councillor A. Hayes

To ask the manager if SDCC can replace the instructional diagrams on the outdoor exercise equipment in Waterstown Park, or, if there is any intention to install the updated style equipment as seen in Rathcoole and Tymon Parks.

REPLY:

The condition of the instruction panels on the outdoor exercise equipment will be examined and replacements arranged where necessary.  At present, there is no approved programme for the replacement of the Waterstown Park equipment with the newer style units installed in Rathcoole Park and Tymon Park.  The condition of the existing units will assessed and if they warrant replacement this will be considered as part of future park improvement works programmes and subject to available funding.
