"This area committee agrees that a safe pedestrian crossing is urgently needed next to the Kilnamanagh Playground in Tallaght, as the current crossing is not fit for purpose?"

REPORT:

The Traffic Section acknowledges the concerns raised regarding the pedestrian crossing adjacent to Kilnamanagh Playground. This location has been identified for potential inclusion in a future pedestrian crossing programme. The provision of a new or upgraded pedestrian crossing at this location will be considered as part of future works, subject to the availability of funding and the prioritisation of projects across the wider network. The Traffic Section will continue to assess opportunities to advance the scheme as resources become available.
