Under the Road Sweeping and Associated Services Contract, routine gully cleaning is carried out on roads in urban areas. The contract is managed by Public Realm Operations.

In rural areas, gully maintenance is carried out directly by the Council's Road Maintenance crews.

To make reporting easier, members of the public can report blocked gullies by emailing publicrealm@sdublincoco.ie.

When reporting a blocked gully, please include the location, the road name, and the nearest house number or Eircode where possible. The report will be assessed and forwarded to either the Council's contractor or the appropriate Road Maintenance crew for investigation and action.
