QUESTION: Councillor L. O'Toole

Can the Chief Executive advise when AGP1 is expected to reopen for use by the club and provide an update on any outstanding works or requirements that must be completed before it can return to operation?.

REPLY:

The fences surrounding the pitch have recently been removed and the contractor is now working on grading the boundary and also completing some remedial work on the pitch. The goals are to be erected over the next 6 weeks. It is anticipated that the pitch will be ready at that stage however inspections will take place over this time to make sure that all remedial works are carried out and the pitch is to an acceptable standard for opening by this time.
