QUESTION: Councillor A. Hayes

To ask the Manager how many parking fines have been issued in Palmerstown Fonthill in the previous 12 months and to break it down into fines issued at designated pay & display areas and fines outside of pay & display areas.

REPLY:

Traffic wardens are solely engaged to patrol pay-and-display areas within villages in the SDCC administrative area.  The Palmerstown area is subject to regular enforcement and in the 12-month period from June 2025 to June 2026, the following fines were issued in the Palmerstown area:

Vehicles committing an offence contrary to Pay & Display/Permit Parking Area Regulations – 318 fines issued

All other offences - 228 fines issued
