"To ask the Council for a usage report for 2026 for pavilion in Dodder Valley Park with reference to the type of groups?"

REPLY:

The pavilion facilities at Dodder Valley Park have recorded consistent usage for the period 1 January 2026 to mid-June 2026, with activity across a range of community and recreational groups.

Summary of Usage:

• Total Bookings: 319
• Active Hours: 914

Types of Groups Using the Pavilion:
Use of the pavilion is largely driven by organised sporting and community groups, including:

• GAA Clubs:
• Thomas Davis GAA Club
• Croí Ró Naofa GAA Club
  These groups represent a significant proportion of usage, primarily utilising Grass Pitch 2 and Changing Room A, with typical session sizes of approximately 40 participants
• Rugby:
• Tallaght RFC
  This group accounts for large-scale bookings, using both pitches and associated facilities
• American Football:
• South Dublin Panthers / American Football Club
  Regular users of both pitches and pavilion facilities, with variable group sizes depending on training or events.
