MOTION: Councillor M. Johansson

That the Chief Executive upgrade the bus stop 2207 outside Palmerstown Manor on the Kennelsfort Road to provide a paved area long enough for a bus. Because of the back door exit on all new buses people have to walk on the grass and mud.

REPORT:

The requested upgrade of bus stop 2207 outside Palmerstown Manor on Kennelsfort Road has now been recorded on the Bus Stop Enhancement Programme (BSEP) database. This location will be assessed alongside other identified sites and will be considered for future improvement works, including the provision of a suitably sized paved area to accommodate bus boarding and alighting requirements, subject to approval from the National Transport Authority (NTA).
