MOTION NO. 7

MOTION: Councillor M. Johansson

That the elected members of this council express their solidarity with the workers at the National Ambulance Service who have been on strike due to the failure of the HSE to implement a 2020 report on improved pay scales reflecting the increased workload and responsibilities of frontline workers, and that a letter be issued to the Minister for Health and the HSE calling on them to immediately implement the recommendations of the report.

REPORT:

If the motion is passed, letters will be issued to the Minister for Health and Chief Executive Officer of the Health Service Executive; the responses, when received, will be circulated to the Members.
