QUESTION: Councillor J. Sinnott

To ask the chief executive if an update can be provided in relation to the provision of a public water fountain adjacent to Ballyroan Library as per a motion that was agreed at a previous ACM?.

REPLY:

It is intended that the installation of the water fountain will be delivered as part of broader improvements in the vicinity of the library. These works will allow for a coordinated and integrated approach to enhancing the area. At this stage, it is hoped that the project will be progressed during Q3, subject to the advancement of the overall improvement scheme.

The Council will continue to progress this matter and will keep the Area Committee informed of developments.
