QUESTION: Councillor J. Sinnott

To ask the Chief Executive if the tree maintenance schedule for the next three months for the Rathfarnham Templeogue Firhouse Bohernabreena areas could be provided to the Area Committee?.

REPLY:

The Council has made significant progress in advancing the tree maintenance programme for the Rathfarnham, Templeogue, Firhouse and Bohernabreena areas, as outlined below, along with the proposed plan for Q3 2026. A number of locations have progressed from survey stage to scheduled works and will be addressed in the coming period, while others remain at survey stage and will advance following arboricultural assessment.

In addition to the works outlined below, reactive work was carried out on 1,161 trees in response to Customer Care reports, public safety concerns, and urgent arboricultural needs within this ACM area. A further 2,310 trees have been surveyed across the county, which will inform future works.
