That this Area Committee calls on the Chief Executive to report on all heritage sites within the Lucan / Palmerstown / North Clondalkin LEA, including but not limited to the recent funding awarded to Aderrig, and to provide a comprehensive update to members. The report should identify the full range of heritage sites across the LEA and set out, for each site, its current status, whether any projects are active, planned or proposed, any funding secured or being pursued, and timelines for delivery where applicable, including both Council-owned and privately owned sites.

In response to the Motion please find attached a list of all relevant heritage and conservation projects identified within the LEA including the status, whether there is an active project on site, a planned or proposed project, funding secured or proposed alongside timelines for delivery. Column H also includes details relating the relevant area of responsibility.

‘Community and Stakeholder Engagement Strategy for the River Liffey Fish Migration Barriers Project’. A partnership project with Fingal County Council, Dublin City Council, and Inland Fisheries Ireland, with an objective to restore effective fish passage on the river by altering/removing existing fish barriers and weirs where appropriate. |
