Cathaoirleach's Business

That this Area Committee calls on the Chief Executive to produce a report and plan for Lucan Village Green with specific focus on ongoing maintenance and upkeep. The report should outline the current maintenance regime including cleaning arrangements for steps, glass and railings, and the maintenance of all planting. It should also set out how the Council will ensure that the area is maintained to the standard expected of a key public space.

REPORT:

The Lucan Village scheme is now nearing completion. The Council will collate data on all the new surface typologies, planting, band stand and seating area and canopies with regard to the maintenance requirements for same. This data will be used to inform a future maintenance regime with our Public Realm Section.
