QUESTION: Councillor H. Farrell

To ask the Manager for details of public events planned for Lucan House, Lucan Demesne, Lucan Village, Lucan Promenade and Weir for the summer months and into the Autumn?

REPLY:

The following public events have been confirmed for the summer and autumn period:

• 16^th May - The Junior Liffey Descent - Lucan Demesne/Promenade,
• 6^th June - Ruaille Buaille Lucan Children’s Music Festival – grounds of Lucan House
• 5^th September - Lucan Festival – grounds of Lucan House

A market event has also been scheduled to take place on the grounds of Lucan House on 6^th December. At this time, there are no additional public events confirmed for the specified locations over the summer and autumn period, however the Council will continue to engage with community groups and event organisers, and any further events that are confirmed will be communicated in due course.
