QUESTION: Councillor W. Carey

 To ask the Chief Executive if the former compound area used at the Lindisfarne/Melrose project will be landscaped before the contractor withdraws from site.

REPLY:

All landscaping works associated with the new development at Lindisfarne, including those at the former compound area will be carried out and completed in the coming weeks. Adverse wet weather conditions during the winter and spring period prevented these works from being undertaken earlier. The completion of the landscaping is a contractual requirement and must be finalised before the contractor withdraws from site.
