MOTION: Councillor T. McDonald

To ask the Chief Executive to request inspection of the pedestrian path running parallel to St. Ronan's Avenue adjacent to Wood Avens, which is prone to regular flooding, and to assess whether drainage works are required to alleviate water pooling and improve accessibility during wet weather conditions. 

REPORT:

The footpath at this location is in reasonable condition but unfortunately the high verges on each side are preventing water from draining away. The area engineer is examining solutions to this issue with the intention to resolve it before next winter
