QUESTION: Councillor L. O'Toole

That this Area Committee requests the Chief Executive to bring forward proposals in relation to the Christmas tree on Lucan Village Green, including its appropriate siting and future arrangements for installation and lighting, and to outline what engagement has taken place with the Lucan Festival Committee and Lucan Tidy Towns in this regard.

REPLY:

Now that the Lucan Village Green Works are being completed, a meeting will be arranged with Members and relevant Festive Committee representatives to discuss power provision in place for the installation of festive lighting in the village. There has been no communication since temporary arrangements were put in place during the works with the assistance of the contractor.
