QUESTION: Councillor H. Farrell

To ask the Manager to update Councillors on any progress made in organising or planning the promised NTA workshop with Local Councillors (due in Feb 26) to explore local public transport issues and opportunities at a dedicated workshop.

REPLY

South Dublin County Council (SDCC) has requested 2no. briefing sessions with the NTA and Dublin Bus to address the many issues raised by the councillors on the existing and planned bus services in our County.  To date I have not received a reply from either organisation confirming a date.  South Dublin County Council will continue to press the two organisations on having a briefing session with the members as soon as is practicable. As soon as SDCC know the meeting dates, we will send out a teams invite to the elected members.  South Dublin County Council are giving this item our utmost attention.
