Kingswood Community College has been included in the Safe Routes to School programme. An Taisce will undertake a study of the school to assess the needs of vulnerable road users and to examine safety issues associated with travelling to and from the school. Once a scheme has been developed, funding will be sought from the National Transport Authority (NTA) to deliver the project. In the interim, the school will be inspected to determine whether any minor measures can be implemented to address immediate safety concerns.
