MOTION: Councillor J. Spear

"This area committee agrees that Council should install a walking track around the perimeter of the green in Kingswood, Tallaght?"

REPORT:

Kingswood Open space is approximately 4 hectares in size and has a range of facilities which includes a playground, teen facility, pitches, tennis courts and exercise equipment.  A review of the existing facilities including footpath layout and provision is currently underway.  The request for a path around the perimeter of the park will be considered as part of the review.  Once the review has been completed it is proposed to bring a plan to the ACM for consideration.  The plan is subject to budget approval, business case approval and planning approval.
