Cathaoirleach’s Business

That this Area Committee supports the provision of walks for the public of the SDCC Development Plan for Rathcoole Lands by South Dublin County Council explaining the reality on the ground as part of the Community Engagement piece in the interest of clarity and transparency.

REPORT:

The council has recently appointed a Public Consultation Facilitator for the proposed Rathcoole Housing Mixed Tenure Housing Development.  The consultation approach is currently being designed, and the suggestion contained in this motion will be referred to the facilitator for consideration as part of the overall engagement strategy.
