MOTION NO. 1

MOTION: Councillor F. Timmons

That this Area Committee requests a report into what SDCC can do to address the damage to the green areas at Cherrywood Park Cul de sac where they replaced bollards and at the corner of Cherrywood Villas at roundabout (pics attached).

REPORT:

Due to time constraints, the installation of the bollards took place when ground conditions were not ideal.  The area was reinstated at the time however damage has since been caused by vehicles driving onto the soft ground which has resulted in the area becoming rutted.  The site will be reinstated again in April.  Temporary fencing will be erected around the site to aid the establishment of grass.

The details of the damaged grass verge at the corner of Cherrywood Villas at the roundabout has been referred to the Roads Section for their attention.
