To ask the manager for an update on completion date for Lucan Village Enhancement Scheme

Lucan Village Enhancement Scheme update

 

Village Green-

• 95% complete
• Completion Mid-April 2026

 Works to complete

o   Riverside painted metal and glass parapet

o   Bandstand and lighting

o   Grass sodding placed in pavers, 80% complete

o   Landscaping along river wall, 30% complete

o   River wall construction, 75%  complete

Lucan Demesne

Overall 97% complete

Completion in Mid-April 2026

works to complete

• Installation of cantilever feature seating
• Railing along park
• Railing at Irish Water compound

Liffey Promenade

• Access steps form Lucan Bridge to the promenade now under construction
• Promenade works are 50% complete. The construction of the steps is the focus of remaining works.

 

Lucan Bridge

To complement the village schemes, Lucan Bridge will receive periodic restoration and maintenance works by TRIUR Construction Limited, to commence in March 2026
