MOTION: Councillor E. Ó Broin

That this Area Committee agrees that the wooden sculpture of an apple, where apple trees have been planted between the Dog Run and Cycle Track in Corkagh Park will be improved.

REPORT:

The wooden apple sculpture has developed some cracking and is weathering in a manner that would be expected with such a feature.  A touch up of the painted elements of the sculpture will be carried out in the summer months when conditions are more suitable and the wood is sufficiently dry enough to work with.
