QUESTION: Councillor F. Timmons

To ask the Chief Executive how he will address traffic safety and speed issues along St Cuthberts Road, and if he would consider a ramp beside or beyond the SDCC depot?

REPLY:

The Traffic Section will review traffic safety and speed issues along St. Cuthbert’s Road, including the request for the installation of a ramp in the vicinity of the SDCC depot.

This location will be considered as part of the next Traffic Calming Programme review, which is expected to be carried out in Quarter 4 of 2026. Any proposed measures, including the possible installation of a speed ramp, will be subject to the outcome of this review and the availability of resources and funding.
