That this Area Committee agrees to check the lights at keeper’s  lock / 9th lock road? 

REPORT:

The traffic signals at the junction of Keeper’s Lock / Ninth Lock Road were only recently brought into operation. When a new signalised junction becomes operational, it is normal practice for the Traffic Management team to monitor the operation of the signals and make adjustments where necessary based on observed traffic patterns and operational performance. The current signal timings may therefore be revised as part of this review process to ensure the most efficient and safe operation for all road users.

In addition, the Traffic Section has also engaged with the scheme designer to review potential options to improve traffic flow at the junction, including the possibility of modifying the signal phasing if required.
