MOTION: Councillor Joanna Tuffy

That an area for a bench in the vicinity of Esker Hill on the way to and from Lucan Village towards Esker Lawns, Cherbury Park, the cemeteries and the foot bridge, be identified and funding explored. 

REPORT:

The Age Friendly Programme Manager is currently liaising with Roads and Public Realm to agree an operational framework to facilitate the effective drawdown and delivery of the ringfenced budget for the installation of Age Friendly benches.

The identification and assessment of suitable locations will form part of this process. Lucan Village will be included for consideration in the context of the overall programme rollout, subject to the agreed criteria and available resources.
