 "To ask the Manager for an update on the new St. Muirins House and when construction will commence?"

REPLY

The cost plan for the construction of the replacement Community Facility (St. Muirins) and the provision of 7 no. dwellings at Avonbeg was approved by the Department of the Environment Heritage & Local Government in July 2006.

A detailed briefing on the community facility is currently being prepared for design team with a view to inviting tenders in late November/early December 2006 for an expected start in the first quarter 2007.
