QUESTION: Councillor C. Brady

To ask the Chief Executive for an update on the procurement of the annual service and maintenance of the flower bed at Dodsboro Shopping Centre (in front of the Spar). This flower bed was created during the Part 8 upgrade of the centre and is unsightly which is not in keeping with the public realm standard and level of investment associated with a project of this type (members' representation 1876489 and associated correspondence)

REPLY:

Following the failure of the contractor to carry out the necessary maintenance of the plants at Dodsboro SDCC are now designing an improved planting plan for this location. This plan will be implemented in the coming weeks.
