QUESTION: Councillor J. Spear

"Can the manager please raise the height of the wall separating Homelawn Avenue from the green space/playground? The current kissing gates are bypassed by people lifting scramblers over the low wall and into the park, destroying the green and causing fear amongst parents and children?"

REPLY:

Provision has been included in the 2026 Public Realm Improvement Works Programme for the installation of fencing on top of the existing wall separating Homelawn Avenue from the adjoining park land. These works form part of a phased programme implemented over recent years to address unauthorised vehicular access at a number of locations.
