"SDCC agrees to consider a yellow box at the entrance to Bawnlee & traffic lights or a zebra crossing between Dromcarra and Bawnlee aiding safe passage to the park?"

REPORT:

There is currently an existing uncontrolled pedestrian crossing point between Dromcarra and Bawnlee which facilitates pedestrian movement to and from the park. This location has been added to the Traffic Section’s list for assessment for a controlled pedestrian crossing. Any upgrade to a signalised or zebra crossing will be subject to technical review, prioritisation, and available resources.

In relation to the request for a yellow box at the entrance to Bawnlee, this can be examined as part of the next Traffic Management meeting.

For clarity, all road marking and traffic management matters can be formally raised through the Traffic Management Meeting process for review and consideration.
