MOTION: Councillor Joanna Tuffy

That in relation to arrangements by the Council with local individuals or groups for the Christmas Tree lighting on the public realm in Lucan Village next year that councillors will be kept informed on a timely basis and collectively by the relevant section of the Council collectively as to what the arrangements are.

REPORT:

During the Lucan Village enhancement scheme in particular the Village Green the project team has been in contact with the festive committee regarding the provision of festive lighting. The Village Green is designed with power feeds for festive lighting and other activities. Relevant information regarding utilisation and use of the connection will be provided when the works are completed.
