To ask the Manager for a progress report on the M50 Upgrade Project from the N4/M50 junction to the Ballymount M50 interchange?

REPLY

Work has commenced on the M50 Upgrade Scheme, principally in the areas of Ballymount and the N4 (Palmerstown Interchange).  The major Bord Gais diversion at the Red Cow is completed.  Traffic management and utility diversions are ongoing at the N4 and Ballymount.  The hard shoulder in the areas of Ballymount and Palmerstown on the M50 has been strengthened and traffic has been moved onto these areas.  Soil stripping has commenced on the M50 median at Ballymount.  It is intended to provide regular updates on the progress of the scheme to the Council and on the M50 website www.m50.ie.
