That the ACM administrative area be identified by the Library Service as a place for the promotion and education of interested members of the public in the tactics of chess

REPORT:

North Clondalkin Library and Lucan Library currently run Chess clubs/ meetups for both adults and children (Tuesdays/Fridays in Lucan Library ; every second Monday evening  and Thursday afternoons in North Clondalkin Library.)                                                                                     

We will examine the possibility of trialling a chess club in Palmerstown library- and explore further options to extend the chess offerings within the locality- further identifying the ACM administrative area as a place for the promotion and education of interested members of the public in chess.
